Alois Kifanga is a marketer, business administrator, script writer, sound engineer and actor. He was born on 15th February, 1969 in Rombo Mkuu, Kilimanjaro. He is the second born in the family of Mr. and Mrs. Kifanga. Alois’s parents were blessed with five children including Helena, Beata, Piala and Isabela.
Alois’s father was a public servant and the family lived in different places at different times. For that reason, Alois grew up in several regions of Tanzania including Kilimanjaro, Dar es Salaam, Mwanza Kigoma, Dodoma and Mtwara.
He started his primary education at Kilimanjaro primary school then ordinary level studies at Popartlas secondary school before joining Usagara High school for his Advanced Level studies. Upon completion of his A level studies, Alois attended his further studies in Nairobi where he did Diploma in Sound Engineering, Business Administration at the University of Dar es Salaam and Masters in Business Administration at Mzumbe University.
He has an outstanding career record having worked with reputable companies/institutions in Tanzania including Capital Market Authority (CMA), Mic Tanzania or Tigo (1998), Uniliver (2003) and TANAPA (2005).
Beside professional experience, Alois is known for his longtime engagement in the music and film industry. Since 2003, he has been working with one of Tanzania’s well established music band popularly known as ‘wana njenje’ as a sound engineer. Similarly, Alois has actively been working with Arusha African Film Festival (AAFF).
He is an independent thinker, logical and at times critical. He is very outspoken challenging and very resourceful. He spends more of his spare time reading books and watch movies. Alois received inspiration from Tyler Perry, an African American actor and producer who is widely known for his well-thought movies and stage plays. Alois is a proud father, married to Captain Lyidia Kifanga and are blessed with one son namely Brian Alois.
He did a good job as a project manager, from inception to the completion of the One Month Date movie project.
