was born on 21st September, 1979 at Mwadui, Shinyanga. He is the fourth child in the family of Mr. and Mrs. Sixtus Mwanambuu who were blessed with six children. Benjamin spent most of his childhood at Mbezi, Dar es Salaam. He is a political scientist and public administrator by profession. His diversified professional experience ranges from banking, media and community service. He worked with the National Bank of Commerce (NBC), FEMINA Hip and Global Publishers & General Enterprises Ltd.
Benjamin started his primary education in 1988 at Mikocheni Primary school, Dar es Salaam where he graduated with a certificate in primary education. He later joined Forodhani Secondary school in 1995 up to 1999 when he graduated with certificate in secondary education.
Benjamin attended his Advanced level studies at Tambaza High school between 1999 and 2001 before joining the University of Dar es Salaam to pursue undergraduate studies in Political Science and Public Administration (PS PA) with optional studies in Fine and Performing Art. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Benjamin enrolled at the Centre for Foreign Relations, Dar es Salaam to pursue Post Graduate Diploma in Management of Foreign Relations. He also acquired professional skills having attended a number of training programs and seminars organised by Friedrich Nauman Foundation (FNF), The British Council and TAYOA.
During his school days, Benjamin was one of those students who made things happen. Being all over the place, Benjamin joined Roots & Shoots, English community, Drama groups and played football. He is an artist by heart. Growing up and studying at the heart of the city, he made various appearances as a hiphop artist in school concerts organised by students at different occasions.
In the movie space, Benjamin was firstly invited to cast for the movie Kelele while studying at the University of Dar es Salaam, the project which was under Clouds Entertainment Ltd. One Month Date is his second appearance in the film industry. In the movie, Benjamin assume the role of an activist from a Non Governmental Organisation
